Wood County Museum fundraiser online auction now live

From WOOD COUNTY MUSEUM

Wood County Museum is offering “non-event” tickets and an online silent auction to raise funds for the museum. All of the proceeds will help the museum continue to offer award-winning exhibits and educational opportunities to the community.

If someone is unable to bid in the auction, they are encouraged to consider purchasing a “non-event” ticket or making a donation to the Poor Farm Palooza fundraiser. Donations of any size help the museum get closer to its goal of raising $15,000. To donate, visit https://woodcountyhistory.org/donation-form/.

The online silent auction is also live now. Auction items include:

  • Peaches’ favorite things, donated by BGSU Athletics & Peaches (WCM)
  • Toledo Zoo family membership, donated by Toledo Zoo & Aquarium
  • Curling lessons for two, donated by Bowling Green Curling Club
  • Ski trip for two plus equipment rental and lessons, donated by Snow Trails

Support helps ensure the longevity and success of the award-winning local history museum. People are encouraged to help the museum reach its goal to raise $15,000 by becoming an event sponsor, purchasing a non-event ticket, and participating in the auction.

Auction participants are able to submit proxy bids, or automatic bidding, and let the auction auto-bid on their behalf. The online auction opened on June 10 at 8 a.m. at will run until June 17 at 8 p.m. Winners of auction items will be contacted via email. To view the auction, click here.
