Tammy Irvin, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on March 21, 1961, and is survived by her devoted mother, Rosemary Koontz, and her stepfather, Richard Koontz. Tammy will be deeply missed by her sister, Lisa Wolpert, along with her cherished nieces and nephews-Christalynn, Curtis, Bradley, Tiffany, and Brianna. As a great-aunt to eight, her warmth and love will resonate through her family for generations to come.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Argust “Buck” Buckler; her husband, Charley Irvin; her grandparents, Alice and Robert Konrad; and three brothers, Kevin Eugene, Johnnie, and Roger. The strength of her family ties and her unwavering spirit remain an inspiration to all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Otsego High School, Tammy dedicated 18 years of her life to working at Lamson and Sessions. She found joy in painting, nurturing her flower and vegetable garden, and spending quality time with her beloved dogs. Her passion for animals led her to support the Wood County Humane Society, and contributions in her honor may be made to help continue her legacy of love for all living beings.
Visitation for Tammy will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A graveside service will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
