Wood County Museum hosts Easter egg scavenger hunt, ‘storybook’ walk

Wood County Museum

From WOOD COUNTY MUSEUM

The community is invited to join the Wood County Museum for the sixth annual Easter egg scavenger hunt presented by Sleek Academy and All About the Kids Learning Center. From March 2 – April 3, people can find all 10 egg signs and collect the clues to win a prize. Signs will be “hidden” all around the museum grounds – all 50 acres. This is a free community event that is for both kids and adults; everyone is welcome to participate.

Participants can pick up their “passport” book inside the museum during open hours, or at either of the information kiosks on the grounds, in the visitor parking lot or behind the building by the herb garden. No physical plastic eggs will be hidden. This is a “storybook” walk activity.

Once people find all the egg signs and fill out the clue answers, they can bring their completed passport back to the museum front desk during open hours to claim their prizes (while supplies last). The Wood County Museum is located at 13660 County Home Road, Bowling Green and is open weekdays from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon – 4 p.m.

The annual Easter egg scavenger hunt is sponsored by: Sleek Academy and All About the Kids Learning Center, Perrysburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Ted Bowlus – Podiatrist, St. Aloysius Catholic School, Susan & George Winters, The Morning Show BG, Renewed Outdoors LLC, Trilogy Health Care, Lanny & Marcia Traber, Nick Wells and the Wells family.
