A Bowling Green man was arrested for alleged domestic violence Sunday (June 28) after a person called police upon hearing Michael Booth, 48, yelling into a home in the 200 block of West Evers Avenue.

When Bowling Green Police arrived at the apartment around 6 p.m., they reportedly heard yelling inside. The woman in the home told police that Booth becomes irate and irrational when he drinks, so she had locked him out of the apartment.

When she let him into the home, Booth allegedly grabbed her forearm. Police noted bruising on the inside of her arm consistent with a hand grabbing her.

Booth was taken to Wood County Jail.
