From WOOD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY
Wood County is under a “slight risk” (2 of 5) for severe weather this afternoon and evening.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected to begin after 4 p.m. as the cold front moves through with the best chance for severe weather between 6 and 8 p.m. The primary concerns will be high wind gusts, quarter-size hail, with up to 0.75″ rainfall.
Wood County EMA will continue to monitor and provide updates as deemed appropriate.
