Bowling Green State University invites alumni, families, students, and community members to celebrate its 104th Homecoming, from Sept. 23-27, featuring activities and events for those who call Bowling Green home.
The four-day event will celebrate the connection between Bowling Green State University and the city of Bowling Green with homecoming favorites and traditions, plus new events and activities.
Falcon football will face South Florida at Doyt L. Perry Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m., followed by a post-game fireworks show. Before the game, fans are invited to Tailgate Park, where a pregame celebration will include music, food and activities for all.
Additional BGSU Homecoming activities include:
- Welcome Back Party featuring live entertainment, games, food, and more
- Night at the Museum in University Hall
- Falcon Marching Band concert on the lawn near Alumni Gateway
- Dave Wottle Homecoming 5K race beginning at Alumni Gateway
- Falconland featuring giant games, interactive experiences, and the family-friendly Kid Zone
- Decades Drive: All Alumni Celebration at the Mitchell B. McLeod Hall, Lawn
BGSU and Downtown Bowling Green continue their partnership, adding to the Homecoming celebration and supporting local businesses with the Homecoming passport. This all-access guide puts the full schedule of events in the palm of a hand.
With the free digital homecoming passport, people can earn points toward giveaways of BGSU-themed gear by checking in at Homecoming events or any of the 30 participating Bowling Green businesses, which will also offer exclusive deals and discounts for passport users. The mobile-friendly passport also serves as an all-in-one source for BGSU Homecoming event information, maps, and rewards.
