A Bowling Green man was arrested after he reportedly restrained his ex-girlfriend and threatened her with a knife.
Dakota Demaline, 18, was arrested for domestic violence, aggravated menacing and disrupting public services. He was taken to the Wood County Jail.
Police responded to the incident in the 200 block of Napoleon Road, Sunday around 11:15 p.m., after the woman ran to a friend’s apartment to call 911.
The woman said Demaline had placed his hands on her upper chest to hold her down. Demaline reportedly grabbed a knife, said “you know what,” then threw the knife into her bedroom closet. He allegedly slapped her leg, leaving a handprint on her thigh.
