The History Channel’s hit show “American Pickers” is planning to visit the Bowling Green area sometime this fall.

The show has contacted the Bowling Green Convention and Visitors Bureau about locating people with collections with items for sale who may be interested in being on the program.

The show is planning a trip to Ohio in October, though the schedule is subject to change. The show is looking for collections for sale and to visit the BG Area.

The show’s crew, Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and Danielle Colby, say they are looking for “large, rare collections and things they’ve never seen before.”

They are also interested hearing the stories behind the collections.

Anyone interested in contacting the show should reach out by telephone at 1-855-OLD-RUST (653-7878), or email AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. They should share their name, city and state, contact information, and a brief description of their collection.

Wendy Chambers, the executive director of the BGCVB, can also facilitate interaction with the staff of “American Pickers.” Call 419-353-9445 x107.

The show follows all procedures and protocols related to coronavirus.
