Bobcat baseball team beats Clyde, 5-1

Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats baseball team won its contest against Clyde, 5-1, earlier this week.

Brent Boston took the win for Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats. The righty surrendered zero runs on two hits over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Jimmy LaForce threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

E. Howey took the loss for Clyde. The pitcher surrendered four runs on five hits over four and a third innings, striking out four and walking one.

Jack Brown started the game for Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats. Brown lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out three and walking one.

Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats collected nine hits on the day. Brock Hastings and Ryan Jackson all collected multiple hits for Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats. Jackson and Hastings all had two hits to lead Bowling Green Varsity Bobcats.

Clyde totaled 10 hits in the game. B. Hershey and M. Odell all had multiple hits for Clyde.
