Jeffrey Christoff

Jeffrey T. Christoff, 56, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Sunday July 10, 2016. He was born on January 7, 1960 in Findlay, Ohio to Thomas and Virginia (Beach) Christoff. He married Tari Vannett on November 23, 1985 and she survives in Bowling Green.

Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Bowling Green High School where he was involved in the High School Band, Madrigal Singers group and wrestling program. He graduated from BGSU in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in Business. Jeff had a career as a professional sales specialist in the concrete and construction materials industry.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and he enjoyed singing in the choir. He had a deep passion for music and participated in numerous Olde English Yuletide dinners and shows with the Grand Rapids and Black Swamp Theater programs.

His hobbies included gardening and cooking. Jeff’s pride and joy were his children, Anna, Justin and Jeremy. He enjoyed attending and supporting all of the activities they were involved in including band, sports and the Wood County Junior Fair.

Along with his wife of 30 years, Tari, Jeff is survived by his daughter Anna (Scott) Subler of Columbus, Ohio, sons Justin Christoff of Bowling Green, Ohio and Jeremy Christoff of Bowling Green, Ohio and his parents Thomas and Virginia Christoff of Bowling Green, Ohio. He is also survived by his brothers Anthony “Tony” (Sandi) Christoff of Perrysburg, Ohio and Stephen Christoff of Williamsburg, Virginia and sisters Emily (David) Christoff-Flowers of Newport News, Virginia, Melissa Zemanski of Bowling Green, Ohio and Shelly Christoff of Bowling Green, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Beth Ann Schetter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 14, 2016 from 3:00 to 8:00pm at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church, 1526 E Wooster Street in Bowling Green. Pastor Amy Miller and Pastor Tom Mellot will officiate. Interment will follow in Beavercreek Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00am Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be given in Jeff’s Memory to The Bowling Green Bobcat Athletic Boosters to benefit Football or Lacrosse or the Wood County Jr. Fair Board.
