From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Wood County District Public Library will be celebrating the romance novel with a free day-long “Love is in the Air” event on Saturday, May 4. The event has everything a reader could dream of–authors, chocolate, door prizes and more.
“Romance novels appeal to readers of all ages and interests,” said Kristin Wetzel, WCDPL’s fiction librarian. “We are looking forward to a really fun day, whether you attend part of the event or stay for the day.”
Highlights of the day include a selfie station, an author meet and greet, and a panel discussion about the romance genre with writers from Maumee Valley Romance Writers, Inc.
The event begins at 1 p.m. and includes many activities.
