Clear Choices Clean Water and Wetlands

Water quality associate at the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) Tatiana Burkett will present on actions that you can take to improve water quality in our community. During the presentation young participants will join a naturalist at the wetland to look for macroinvertebrates and learn how they help us determine water quality. Leader: Jim Witter

Conservation Volunteer Day

Portage Paddle

Thursday, May 30; 6:00 – 8:30 pm

William Henry Harrison Park

644 Bierley Ave, Pemberville

Join naturalists in exploring a 2.7 mile section of the Portage River! Leaders will point out wildlife and river features as we paddle, eventually stopping at Lovers ODNR Fishing Access. Participants will be bussed back to the launch site at the conclusion of the trip. Cost: $7/$5 FWCP. Leaders: Craig Spicer & Bill Hoefflin
