Virtual book discussion to address realities of life as a refugee

The Northwest Ohio Immigrant Rights Network will present a virtual community book discussion on “When Stars Are Scattered,” Tuesday, June 15, 6-7:30 p.m.

A National Book Award Finalist by Victoria Jamieson and Omar Mohamed, the graphic novel addresses about the reality of life as an immigrant and refugee. “When Stars Are Scattered” tells the story of Omar and his brother Hassan as they wait and work in UN refugee camp in Kenya, hoping for an opportunity to find a new home.
