Wild Lights offer a chance to shine at Knight Preserve display

From WOOD COUNTY PARK DISTRICT

A Wild Lights Workshop will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 4- 7 p.m. at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, 29530 White Road, Perrysburg.

Participants will adopt a foam animal station to decorate in a friendly competition and community tradition. The creations will be on display during Wild Lights Weekend, Jan. 19-21 from 5- 8 p.m. each day when about 1,000 community members will stroll through the twinkling displays.

The contest is free to enter, there are cash prizes.

Register by Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at wcparks.org, or by calling 419-353-1897.  

Individuals, groups, families, or organizations can register.

They will   develop a theme and decorate one of the life-sized 3D foam animals. 

Visitors will be able  warm up with hot chocolate, cookies, games, and a photo station inside the nature center. 

No registration is needed. The Wild Lights event is free and open to all.
