From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
People can explore the galleries of the Louvre in France or the marble busts of the Capitoline Museum in Rome from the comfort of their own homes.
The Wood County District Public Library is offering a preview of the collections of hundreds of museums available via Google Arts and Culture. The preview will be Monday, July 13, at 2 p.m., in the second floor programming room at the Bowling Green location, 251 N. Main St.
Google Arts and Culture is a non-commercial initiative from Google designed to make art across the world accessible. It features an “Artwork of the Day,” an online lab that explores experiments by artists, education about artistic movements, and more.
No registration is required for this virtual exploration at the library.
