The Bowling Green Alleyway Committee has accepted five proposals for consideration to create murals in two downtown alleys.
Artists selected as finalists are Dean Davis, Carrie Day and Gordon Ricketts, Connor Degnan, Andrea Pereira de Almeida, and Chris “Chilly” Rodriguez, all from Wood and Lucas counties.
The design proposals will on display for public input through Feb. 15, in the Wood County Public Library, 251 S. Main St., Bowling Green and online.
The alleys and pedestrian walkways for this beautification project are the two sections of Dogleg Alley which connect East Wooster Street by Insomnia Cookies to North Main Street next to Finders Records.
Each of the two sections is considered a separate commission with an anticipated completion date of Summer 2025.
