The Wood County Park district offers a Milkweed and Monarchs talk on Aug. 16. See details below.

From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY

This event is for the birds…and humans! Join the Wood County District Public Library and Bowling Green Parks and Recreation’s Natural Resources Coordinator Chris Gajewicz on Wednesday September 30th for a presentation on living harmoniously with nature. Chris discusses how to make your backyard more hospitable to the creatures you enjoy having around, while also learning how to work with, instead of against, those you are less thrilled about.

“With current events as they are, I think everyone has been spending a bit more time in their yards than previous years,” says Information Services Coordinator Kristin Wetzel. “Chris has a lot of great information to share with everyone on how we can best maintain those natural spaces.”

The presentation will be on Google Meet at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 30th. To register, email woodref@wcdpl.org or call 419-352-5050. An Information Services staff member will reply with a link to the event.
